Independent Writers of Chicago
Speakers Sam Bauch of Solvate, a nonbidding online job site that matches freelancers with assignments, and Angela Atkinson, who is manager of LinkedIn's WM Freelance Connection, will talk about how to get well-paying jobs online. Visitors welcome.
Networking with snacks and beverages begins at 5:00 p.m., followed by the program at 6:00 p.m. The meeting is free for all IWOC members. Nonmembers pay $10 with preregistration, $15 at the door.
Plan to stay for a buy-your-own dinner at a nearby restaurant afterwards, where we'll continue our networking over dinner.
