IWOC offers three levels of membership to help you access helpful resources and connect with other members:

Professional ($140/year)—Writers who pursue independent writing to provide a portion of their incomes

  • Detailed listing in the searchable IWOC member directory
  • Access to the IWOC Writers' Line job board and other members-only resources, such as sample contracts and a periodic rate survey
  • Free admission to IWOC monthly programs
  • Discounted admission to periodic skill-building seminars

Senior ($90/year)—Professional members who are of age 62 years or older

  • All of the benefits of Professional membership at a discounted price

Associate ($70/year;)—People who are interested in writing but are not yet pursuing a freelance writing career

  • Contact-information listing in the searchable IWOC member directory
  • Free admission to IWOC monthly programs
