We hear it all the time: Content is king. Makes sense. After all, clients have been known to pay a king's ransom for well-written copy that gets results. But it all begins with having a content strategy. No one knows that better than Chicago-based Content Academy co-founder Rebecca Steurer, who was content (oriented) before it was cool.

Rebecca is all ours come Tuesday, September 11, when she explains how understanding content strategy is essential to delivering what clients clamor for: writing that's effective, on target...brilliant!

Ms. Steurer also hires writers -- and will be divulging what qualifications she seeks when hiring content providers for a variety of digital projects, from blogs to social media to website copy . So bring your business cards!

Networking, with snacks and beverages, begins at 5:00 p.m., followed by the program at 6:00 p.m.

The meeting is free for IWOC members. Non-members pay $10 with online preregistration/payment or $15 at the door.

NOTE: Get 10% off your first year of an IWOC membership if you sign up at the meeting (or up until midnight that night)! Must attend the meeting to get the coupon code.

All attendees are welcome to join us for a buy-your-own dinner at a nearby restaurant after the meeting.
