Independent Writers of Chicago
In this month's program, various legal issues freelance writers perennially have on their minds will be discussed, presented by attorney Steven Baron of Lawyers for the Creative Arts.
Mr. Baron works specifically with writers and will cover such topics as copyright law, plagiarism, attribution and much more.
Bring your questions...and prepare yourself for the important and enlightening answers.
(Please note: The part of the program that was to address issues concerning the U.S. Department of Labor's "Classification of Employees and Independent Contractors Under the Fair Labor Standards Act" will be rescheduled for a later date. Stay tuned.)
